On September 18, 2025, a delegation from Chengdu Industrial University, including Yang Yazhi, Deputy Dean of the School of Computer Engineering, and Hua Chenhui from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, visited our college. The visit focused on conducting a specialized study regarding the application for German ASIIN international accreditation for two programs: Computer Science and Technology, and Mechatronics Engineering. Attendees of the meeting included Tang Chunfeng and Liu Wen from the Quality Management Office of Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Sun Xinyu from the Sino-German College, Zhu Lin, Vice Dean of School of Urban Railway Transportation, as well as the head of the Vehicle Engineering Department and key faculty members involved in the ASIIN accreditation work.

On behalf of the college, Vice Dean Zhu Lin delivered a welcome speech and provided a comprehensive overview of the college's development and its accreditation journey. Liao Aihua, Head of the Vehicle Engineering Department, shared insights based on the college’s practical experience with ASIIN accreditation for the Vehicle Engineering program. She covered critical aspects such as standard interpretation, documentation preparation, and on-site evaluation readiness, emphasizing that the principles of student-centered, outcome-oriented, and continuous improvement must be upheld throughout the process. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics, including curriculum system mapping and quality monitoring mechanisms.

This exchange not only strengthened the collaborative friendship between the two institutions but also provided valuable reference and insights for universities in the western region of China seeking international engineering education accreditation. Our college will continue to share high-quality resources and support more disciplines and programs in stepping onto the global stage.
